Free Camping

When travelling around Iceland on a small to medium size campervan, finding a place to camp is not difficult. We have what we call "free camping" system, where you are allowed to camp where ever you like, except on a private land. Motorhome and bigge Rv´s on the other hand, is better to park at camp sites. The camp grounds in Iceland are very nice and most of them offers good facilities where you can get power outlets etc. The price is very reasonable and you can find camp grounds all around the island, and in many cases, in a very beautiful places.
